ABOUT US

WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING FOR

Full Service Design

From designing your home with the builder down to the smallest details

Melissa and her team want your home to be a reflection of who you are and how you live. Born and raised in Charlotte, Melissa has enjoyed a 30-year career as an Interior Designer and Construction Specialist working in the Queen City, neighboring towns, as well as projects all over the country from Washington, DC to California.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Furnishings and Interiors from the University of Georgia in 1992, Melissa came back to Charlotte and was brought into the world of construction by a fellow interior designer and, from there, the rest is history. She has been lucky to work with many of Charlotte’s top builders on homes that range in size and style and prides herself on being able to work in many different genres.

Not all of her clients are construction clients, many are simply looking to update their furnishings. Melissa mostly enjoys residential design, but several times in her career she has worked on commercial projects.

Additionally, she has designed three motorhomes for NASCAR families with both Newell Coach and Featherlite Coaches, who then featured her work on their website.  In 2020, Melissa added a new genre of design work to her repertoire and began work on the upfit of a super yacht in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Her team includes Operations Manager, Jennifer Peppler, along with Junior Designer, Kinsey Peppler, and Jill Franklin, part-time Interior Design Assistant. Together, our team is your “vehicle” for achieving your finished look that is well executed and will still feel very personal to you.

AWARD WINNING INTERIOR DESIGNER

Crown Design Group of North Carolina

We have won multiple awards for our designs in Homearama, Parade of Homes, showhouses and, in 2019, we were selected among the top Charlotte-area designers to participate in the 2020 IDS Showhouse in Davidson, NC to design the Modern Farmhouse Dining Room.

Our work has appeared on TV in the Showtime series ‘Homeland’, and, most recently, one of our projects appears multiple times in a Hulu docu-series filmed in the Palm Beach area in 2020.

In 2018, our work was selected as one of seven homes in Charlotte to be featured in the Mint Museum’s “Mad About Modern” tour.

Melissa’s work has been on the cover of several Charlotte and Lake Norman magazines, is sometimes used as a set for different national catalog photo shoots, and has also been featured in the national publication of the ITC Millwork catalog for 3 years running. Her work is also showcased in the Koetter Woodworking catalog, and one of her designs is shown in the Koetter Woodworking Museum at their headquarters in Borden, Indiana.
